My First week in EYKL..

First day:
Tot just me alone yg register for my 1st day. Mana tau, like the whole class full with new staff.But, most of them are fresh grads.So, the whole day I was busy filling in all the necessary forms, attended IT orientation, tour my REC dept, meet peoples and lastly, lepak2 at my workstation. The SM in charge still finalising my portfolio list..so, before it out, lepak2 je la.Yup,SM tuh punya ayat" u lepak2 jer dulu". Oh ya, btw, that Director is one of 3R host's sister. sgt cool orgnya..So, lepakla until ard 5.40. I can't do much as I can't open my Lotus notes,nak check email segala tak bleh..so surf net jerla..

2nd day:
Ard 10 am, rushing to meeting room. I'm not aware bout the meeting..so terkocoh kacah pegi..I called it "rebut2 staff meeting".So, all managers like choose staff they need for this coming peak period and see whether any conflict with other managers tak..It's end around 2pm..lama giler. Luckily puasa. So, at that meeting, I knew I will be handling this listed company which I will take over from my close fren, Joan Dee as she will resigned soon.So,she rebut good staff for me..lega..Abis meeting, continue lepaking..

Today and tomorrow:
By rite, I will get my final portfolio list by today. But, the Director that supposed to pass it was not around..menunggu dan menunggu. So, surf net, baca all admin stuff,baca balik all the EY methodology (macam dah lama tak keje)..dan skang berblog..keke..I think tomorrow activity will be d same as today..:). Shud i just sit and wait for d list or shud I go n ask the SM whether got anything for me to do?..hmm..entahla. Tot, once I got my portfolio list, I can start doing all the planning stuff..like try to know the background of the cases that I will be handling.haih..payah takder keje ni..

Oh, additional notes:
1)This few days I reached office around 8.40am and went back around 6pm. Org kata, minggu2 awal keje tempat baru kena tunjuk poyo skit, wpun obviously ppl know I dun have things to do..haha..
2)5-7 Oct,I will be going to somewhere (out of KL, kata HR) 3D2N for my orientation.I was so shocked hearing dat. Orientation jer pun..Tak kisahla, yg penting kita enjoy!;)

My Farewell Treats

I had 3 farewell treats last week.Lunch on Thursday,followed by Lunch and Dinner on Friday pulak.Makan dan makan dan makan..

On Thursday, I had lunch with Pauline, Poh Yoke, Anne, danny,Leonard & Pei Yee at Maria's Cafe. Dun have the pics wif me. Si budak pei yee tak kasi2 lagi. But, on dat day, they gave me my farewell gift kongsi2 with some of my other colleagues~signature pen which I am longing for..huhu..syiok!










Friday lunch with my Malay colleagues..










Ard 4.30pm after returning all d Ipoh office properties, and distributing my Farewell cakes (oh..forgot to take da pics..)yup, end up I bought 2 cakes at Deli Cakes~my fav cashew chocolate cake and marble cheese cake (Diorg kata sedapsss), I had my photo sessions with my officemates for d last time in d office..





Oh..dis is my first work station on d day I join EY..till I was senior...






Then, I moved to a workstation with no deskmate...my own cubicle.agak bosan actually..too isolated from others..



Lots of people not around dat day..on EL, AL, MC and do field work at client place...so, ini2 aje yg tinggal..for d photo session..jadi la..


























At nite, dinner with Ms Leong, Chin Yee, Ida and new staff (alamak..tak hingat nama).Lepas makan, Janet, Chooi Fun and Ee- Leng plak mai and we continue yamcha..










Oh ya, as a token of my appreciation to my Director and Patner, I bought them lucky trees..They are so happy to have it..best kan jadi bos.










I am going to miss EY Ipoh so much..I am very proud of myself for being strong enuf to work in EY Ipoh dat long, almost 6 years. Sungguh tak sangka. Before I left, someone told me, I have created history in EY Ipoh. I am d first malay working in EY IPOH for dat long and that is an achievement in itself. To top that fine feat, aka icing on the cake, I am the first ever malay AM in EY Ipoh history..Think of dat, it makes me SMILE..susah payahku berbalas :) Alhamdulillah..

My Farewell Email..

I had been scratching my head thinking how to compose my farewell email..After referring to my x-colleagues' farewell emails and some from the internet, I managed to come out with this :

Dear all,

My life’s destiny has brought me to today, marking my final day in Ernst & Young IPOH and continue my career path in Ernst & Young KL. Looking back my almost 5 colorful years have passed and I must say that I am ending my journey here with the very fondest of memories.

Firstly, I would like to give my special THANKS to Ms Leong for for giving me the opportunity to be part of this family and offer me with the best during my tenure of employment here. I am one of the privileged ones who have been given the opportunity to grow together with the company. My experience here has led me to high levels of maturity and strength, mainly in terms of knowledge and experience. The guidance, support and advice that I gained have enriched my knowledge, skills and contributed to the person I am today, and what I would still be. It has been my honor to have had the opportunity to work alongside all of you. Thank you to ALL of you and special thanks to Sook Leng, Soon, Poh Yoke, Yen Nee, Borg Huey,Danny and the rest of the managers.

To my dearest mentees and all the fellow seniors and juniors, keep up the good work and it is always great to work with you all. Cherish the knowledge and experiences that you gain in Ernst & Young and I'm certain it will be rewarding in the future.

To admin and TAX personnel, thanks for your help and support.

I truly cherish the friendship that was built throughout my stay here.You are a special group of people and I will definitely miss you all dearly. Throughout my days in EY, I am being loved and cared for and I will definitely keep with me all the sweet memories and love that had showered me.

Last but not least, please do accept my sincere apologies if I have offended anyone of you, in any way.

Amacam? Terharu biru tak?kekeke..

our new perabots..

In d previous post I got mentioned dat we bought our new furnitures.so, here are the pictures of it.










Our living room's color theme is black,red & white. Carpet tu plan to replace with maybe white carpet??On the wall behind TV, plan to hang picture of 'red rose yg kembang mekar'~ I saw once last time in magazine. Surveyed for this red rose pic for quite some time d, but until now didn't find one. Huhu..hah!and a black coffee table in d middle.baru perasan tak beli lagi..adoi..dear, ingat?











This pic is to show my display+divider cabinet tu..I choosed myself.Suka sgt!Can split d living and dining area..takderla like all in 1 area jer kan.Plan to put our wedding pictures dari atas hingga ke bawah..hehe.Tinggal beli pic frames. The pics are ready..











While for dining area, we choose brown&black.Still need to buy the dining table accessories like table runners, placemats and maybe candle stand in d middle?hmm..

Without those accessories, living & dining area kind of dull & empty a bit ya..Plan to buy it later2 la.Now have to save some of the money for raya n for my hubby coming bufday;) plus we must survey2 for it first..nanti beli, tgk lain, nyesal suda.pelan2 kayuh!

donut or cake?

This coming friday will be my last day in EYIpoh..I will be on leave the week after that and on 1st sept, will be my 1st day in EYKL. Quite nervous actually..Eventho it is still the same company and the same work methodology, but the environment is different. New bosses, new colleagues, new friends, new workplace, new portfolios, new clients..lots of NEW things there.dagut..dagut.. But hope I can easily adapt to the NEW environment. Amin..

So,as to follow d "unwritten law @ tradition" of Ipoh office, the resigning people will have to give a farewell treat for the whole dept which is currently consist of approx 50 ppl. Normally, ppl will give cakes..Hmm. I am still undecided on this..it's either to give them big apple donuts, secret recipe cake or one of my favourite deli garden's cake which i cant remember the name..eheh..

Yes, I shud be proud of myself..I have gone thru lots of obstacles, difficulties and challenges in my life and I have overcome it.I am having a great life and shud be thankful to God for wat I have. Thanks to my hubby, family and friends for being so supportive...Okie, I am so emo..

fening..fening..

puasa arini..pening plak..nak keje pun tak larat.Hmm, hubby pegi interview at teletech, somewhere behind menara public.Wish him luck..the longest interview ever..dari kul 10 sampai skang tak abis2.

My special job yg bring me all the trouble mable tu can say almost complete. Pending for patner to sign jer. haih, but my independent patner ask me so much thing which we have no answer to it..Tot yesterday when he gave us the review points, it will be the end of it..mana tau this morning he shoot n email asking this n that and the Q is beyond our knowledge.I mean which we couldnt answer it..Client nak beli harga banyak tuh, nak buat camner.ada supporting documents sudahla..haih..mafan btul..

Hmm,I am so lazy to do my work now..oh, i applied leave for this friday and 5 days at the end of the month(minggu pertama pose).Mana tau, my Director approved kesemuanya sekali..wihoo!On 1 September I will start working in EYKL.. But till now, the HR still yet to call me.Jgn kata postpone suda..but my patner has confirmed this with patner in KL...tak kisahla..tunggu dan lihat..

Meaning the first week of Ramadhan, i got the opportunity to cook for my hubby utk sahur n berbuka coz i dun have any job commitment at that time..so free!sonoknya..jgn nanti ajak pegi pasar ramadhan jer sudah.masak ke mana..adui..

Hmm...plan lepas ni macam nak minum milk shake or fruit juice buat sendiri utk dinner jerla.sbb my weight stagnant at 55kg jer.almost 2 months d..hadui.So I am going to surf for the recipe for the fruit milk shake and fruit juice yg best!
